Apparently 2% of the people on here from Florida are idiots or just completely uninformed. This is why I support having to pass a very basic test to prove you have SOME knowledge about who you're voting for before you're allowed to vote.

I loled when some people said our governor is republican. Seriously, do you guys live under a rock, or is that just what you wish our governor was?

10/16/12 8:17 pm

This is why New Jersey sucks the way it does lol

4% of people in New Jersey think Chris Christie is a Democrat. ROFL

@ILoveUSA I am so sorry to hear your situation :D

Why? Did you like the massive debt hole that Corzine put our state in? Do you remember the state wide blackout we had under Corzine? Christie made tough choices but our state is better off for it.

5% of New Yorkers don't know anything

10/15/12 11:34 am

What's the margin of error for a binary, factual question?

10/15/12 11:33 am

Well, if you like Scott I suppose you are the illegally-ban-people-from-voting type, but luckily this is America, and we have laws against that sort of thing.

It seems several states in the middle of the country (north-south) are confused about their governor.

Our Governer came Rick Synder..a self made billionare came into office after this liberal bitch ran this state into the ground..and balanced a budget and gave this state a surplus.. hundreds of millions if course the democrats tried to grab at it for their stupid social programs didnt happen.

10/14/12 5:50 pm

What is this? An idiot test?

10/14/12 2:28 pm

I was just about to comment the same thing.

Apparently 3% of Californians are morons -.-

10/14/12 8:18 am

This is a factual question. If you don't know, don't guess. Look it up so at least you know the politics of your own state!

10/14/12 7:00 am

As if they realize they're wrong. Do you really think they took time to check the comments?

Komm No. I am your father
10/14/12 6:51 am

How do idiots get this question wrong? It's not opinion it's a fact. Only one answer!!
Whoever got it wrong really really needs to reconsider voting this year. You are obviously in no way informed adequately to make a decision more important then paper or plastic.

Looks like some confusion in Nebraska haha

you have to admit this result is bad because it shows that either the person doesn't know who their governor is or what party they belong to or both.

yet somehow, not all of TX knows he's a republican?!? i just moved from there, and there was NO mistaking it. :)

10/13/12 10:27 pm

If Romney was still governor of Massachusetts it would be 50/50 there. No one knows for sure.

I'm not actually sure, I haven't ever thought to ask... That sad... I feel dumb... Sorry governor!

10/13/12 7:42 pm

Oh my goodness, these results are so sad. Scroll down to the state's information. I am a 17 year old, yet I know the governor of my state's party. C'mon guys.

10/13/12 7:40 pm

Looks like I need to pay more attention to my local and state politics.

10/13/12 7:37 pm

Here's what honestly confuses me. I can understand not being sure of your party's governor. But, after you vote, don't you usually check the results? Wouldn't it be obvious, then, if you got the wrong answer? Maybe, people don't know that they can change their vote.

10/13/12 7:25 pm

Nobody said it was. Everything on SOH doesn't have to be an opinion question.

10/13/12 6:17 pm

Who in Tennessee chose Democrat? I know we are at the bottom when it comes to education, but how could you not know the Gov is a Republican? We haven't had a Dem Gov for a while.

10/13/12 5:53 pm

Amazing people don't know! Great outlook for our future.

Komm No. I am your father
10/13/12 5:51 pm

Filters show a significant percentage of people don't know who their own governor is. I hope these folks are not voting.

10/13/12 5:15 pm

I am living in the swing state of California. Right now Jerry Brown is our governor. Soon it will be Condilieza Rice I hope

10/13/12 3:16 pm

While this may not be an opinion, it establishes information regardless. It establishes what is SOH's margin of error, and for the most part it still displays what states have what kind of governors. It's not an opinion poll, but a good poll regardless.

RI. Linc Chafee is an independent.

10/13/12 10:48 am

10/13/12 8:53 am

I am a Libertarian, and I tend to vote Republican. I am in California and we currently have a Democrat in office; Jerry Brown. I can't say that I voted for him or that I trust him, but he's definetly doing a better job than out last governor, Arnold S.
