Did you watch the MLB All-Star game?
Baseball may be fun to play, but it is boring to watch, especially on tv.
damn straight I do!
Football. And I play it, too. The only time I would EVER watch soccer is if a player faked an injury, which is about every "injury". They make me laugh :D
Lemme guess, you watch soccer right?
optimist6 - Oh my god you're soooo funny!
MLB stands for "Men Licking Balls", so I don't watch it.
Baseball is the best game in America!!! Yes!
There was a Major League Lacrosse game going on at the same time. Nope.
Joey Votto. All I need to say. ;)
Heck, I was there. It was awesome. But may I just say- Bud Selig is an idiot. I can't believe an exhibition game counts. But... You know... Home field for the Cubbies this year! I guess you can look at the bright side! :)
All you people that say the AL is better clearly did not watch the ASG. 11-0 scoreline is a giveaway that NL is superior. Also, the losers in the AL don't let the pitcher hit. Its just my opinion (I much prefer pitching over hitting. A dominant ace is better than a slugger) but NL rules.
What happened to one of americas games
All star games are pointless
MLB.... that's the sports game thing, right.
Don't even know what MLB stands for. I guess the "B" stands for Baseball.
I didn't feel like watching grass grow between pitches.
....until it was so obviously a blowout that I started reading a book ha ha! (Go Yankees!)
I went to a baseball game last week. Almost died of boredom. I could watch Twilight all day instead of an hour of baseball. And trust me I HATE TWILIGHT
nah, all star games in general are no fun to watch. i watch the other 'all star' events, like the home run derby, 3 point contest, and skills challenge. wish they had more to the nfl pro bowl.
Too boring to watch just like american football and golf.
Baseball seriously sucks
Worn out from swinging so much at the homerun derby = P
Yeah, but kind of a snoozer...where were those supposedly dominant AL bats?
If Verlander had been pitching for plate placement rather than speed, it would have been a different story. And I agree, the record of interleague play is more telltale, and that tale says AL is superior. Just my biased opinion :)
How did the NL win...?
iforgot - uhhh scoreboard...8-0
What game? Lol
No but Asdrubal Cabrera signed my glove at a Crushers game! So cool! ????⚾
Yeah. The AL is better than the NL.
Does anyone really think that the NL is that much better than the AL? After 3-2 and 5-1 games? I sure don't. Especially when they routinely lose the AL-NL Showdown (aka interleague play).
Yes, and even being an AL fan I stuck it out to the end. Not someone who gives up easily. But I'm increasingly thinking that they should change the home field rule to the league that wins more games in interleague play, if anything. Though I also think that last night's score was a bit flukey.
Not in Oklahoma
People still play Baseball?
I was going to, but I was out on a run during the first inning, and upon my return, being an AL fan myself, decided it wasn't exactly worth watching anymore...
Waiting for football season now. This is by far the worse time of year for sports. Baseball and tennis...yuck.
I usually do but with the Sox down this year I didn't. Hoping for a better second half. Go Sox!
Until they legalize tackling baseball isn't brutal enough for me to watch
Didn't even know it was on, but went to the local Fox affiliate for my usual fix of the Big Bang Theory reruns yesterday and found them preempted by baseball. Very annoying. I thought the whole point of ESPN was to keep that from happening.
Heard it was a blowout.
I forgot about it. I wanted to see Chipper's last game. I saw Pandorum last night instead..damn memory..
It's not meaningless. The winning league gets home field advantage in the world series

I think all-star games - in any sport - are pointless. Then again I'm not a fan of award shows like the Oscars either.
