How many alcoholic drinks have you had in the last week? If none, comment on why? I'm a recovering alcoholic
None. I used to have an occasional drink, but for whatever reason, my husband has never enjoyed alcohol at all. So when we got married, I felt silly drinking alone in front of him, and gave it up almost completely. It's not a big deal for me.
I drink one glass of wine nightly after my kid goes to bed. I grew up with a closet-drinking brother. Congrats on your accomplishment!
None because my husband is a recovering alcoholic - six years last December!
I was never a big drinker, and I find as I get older I drink less and less.
Like a drink when I go out for dinner. Good to hear you took control of your life. We all have our own issues we must deal with.
None because that would be illegal. I am not 21. XD
None. I am trying to diet, I mean, eat better, no, eat healthy. Yes, healthy, that's the right word. :-)
(I'm just a social drinker on special occasions.)
I have an addictive personality, I try not to drink unless its a special occasion and even then I won't let myself get drunk.
I had a glass of wine with dinner a few nights ago. Looking forward to a scotch & a pipe this Saturday... I simply don't drink that much.
I had some at dinner with friends. They needed an excuse to open the wine. I wasn't a big fan though. Too sweet!
I usually don't, but because I'm not fond of the taste and/or too lazy. I like White Russians. When I drink, I have a hard time waking up.
My in-laws offered me a glass of wine once. It was syrupy sweet & they served it with ice cubes in the wine glass. It was a weird experience. I turned them down when they offered again on future occasions.
I don't drink. Mostly because of the law.
Drinking makes me sick to my stomached & my muscles hurt. I don't like the feeling of being sedated. Although I probably need to be. But I wouldn't sneeze at a line of coke.
I have a seizure condition. Alcohol and my meds don't play nice
I have developed seizures as well, no they don't play nice together!
Fun times isn't it :)
You get to randomly black out. Sore and tired after a seizure. Sometimes even get to pee yourself at work. Just a over all great time lol
I only drink when I have time to relax and chill... Time to enjoy it!
I'm also a recovering alcoholic. 1 year, 7mo., 26 days since I last had a drink. I know your struggle, my friend.
Congratulations on your sobriety. I haven't had a drink in more than three years. I did go seven years before that though.
Medication I'm taking says no alcohol --- even while in vacation it was a bummer but I survived.
A glass of wine with dinner and a little scotch on ice when evening chores are done. Congratulations, btw. You're in the same boat as many of my friends and family. It's rough but will save your life in many ways. One day at a time....
None - I'm not an alcoholic, but I'm more of a social drinker and I have been out to dinner or out with friend this last week. Too busy - it is "Fair Week" here so there is a ton to do
None. I only drink beer, when I drink, and I have a problem stopping once I start. So, I don't keep it in the apartment unless I'm having company. Congrats on your sobriety, Ryan.
I had a frozen margarita when we went out to dinner. I rarely drink.
I have a glass of wine every night
None just hadn't.
Proud of you, Ryan. Do what you have to do to live a healthy, strong life. For us, wine or beer is consumed now and then, usually with a meal; mixed drink occasionally with friends. Alcohol should never become the center of one's life. It's a drink.
One, Tuesday night on my date. I rarely have more than one when I go out.
How was the date?
Really good, we met at a Tiki bar and then walked around talking for a long time before he walked me home - simple, but fun.
Diabetic - can't drink. Haven't in 23 years.
Stay strong, Ryan - you're a great guy!
