Have you ever witnessed or been the recipient of an animal showing its love and caring and compassion for a person?
I always knew animals could be attached to owners but after having my service dog I am blown away by the devotion. I am his focus 100% of the time. He is genuinely worried when I get
sick. I seized in the shower once, not only did he pull the curtain away from me he went through the bathroom door and in to my roommates room to wake her. Bear is amazing. If my alarm goes off and I don't get up, he will pull me out of bed.
Negatively though he is protective. We were walking and were hit by a bike. I was hurt and we were tangled in the wreck. He wouldn't allow anyone to get near me. Glad he had his vest on.
I'm sure the police would have shot him if they didn't know he was a service animal and he was being aggressive.
I'd been away from my pup for almost 2 weeks until yesterday. She was so happy to see me! She jumped up and nuzzled me and licked my face. Then snuggled next to me and didn't leave me side until morning...when people were up and cooking! Ha!
I tend not to ascribe human emotions to non-human things, whether animals, gods, etc.
My entire life, I've grown up with animals and always been around them. First time I get up in the morning, my little brother (cocker spaniel) gets SO excited to see his big sister and demands immediate attention and lovings, and usually will bring
one of his toys to me to play with. It's adorable, I love the unconditional love.
I've missed my puppy every day since she died almost 20 years ago. Just a big wiggly lump of pure love wrapped in fur.
My cat is hugging and kneading me as we write..
Every day with Jabba.
My dog every day.
My little dog cries and howls when I'm out of her sight. It annoys my husband but I am her world, so she becomes completely bereft when I'm gone.
Had a dog my entire childhood so yes.
During a panic attack my usually rambunctious cat will cuddle up to me on my chest and lick my face, very unlike his usual personality!
Definitely. My cat is sweet normally, but she always manages to become even more sweet when I'm upset or sick. When I had a migraine earlier this week, she didn't leave my side, even when that meant getting dangerously close to a full bathtub.
I miss my cat, I've said before how bad my period cramps are, and when I had her shed lay on my lower abdomen and purr, and it made it loads better.
Aww, sweet kitty. I'm sorry she's no longer with you.
My sweet furry baby was there for every divorce meltdown I had. I love her so much.
I can't picture life without 4 legged furry loving animals. I never feel alone with my cats. They're comedy.
Every time I come home my dog acts like he just won the lottery. It never gets old.
Yes every time I watch marley and me
Moments ago the dog whacked me in the face with one of his hard rubber toys, so I faked a couple sobs to mess with him (I'm an awful person) I even fell to t side in shakes. Anyway, he instantly calmed down, made his concerned noise and nosed me.
After a few licks he then went away, brought back his absolute favorite toy, made sure he set it down and I noticed it, then layed down a few feet away and watched me all concerned like.
My puppy change my life !
Every day! I love my puppy. :)
You have a puppy? :O pics?
Well. He's a year and a half.
Do you have your nick?
