Your work dress code:
I read read your question. They want you to be covered up. Running around the hallways or in the pool area in your birthday suit is frowned upon. We had a guy named Swen who decided to do that
Nude or sleep pants.
I said casual. Yes, I have a uniform, but it's an all-girl's school, so I can just throw it on and out my hair in a ponytail. A lot of girls don't wear makeup or anything. Yay for my school!! :D
I said dressy because I have to wear a uniformed shirt. But it's not too bad though...
Nursing shoes or black dress shoes, black trousers, white blouse or organization trauma center polo.
Definitely more on the dressy end. But even if we didn't have a more strict policy here than my old school, I would still dress sharp - makes a noticeable difference in the classroom.
Athletic shorts, dri-fit shirt and athletic shoes... Pretty freaking comfortable!
~ Classy, Sassy & Simple ~
One job- whatever I want as long as I look presentable. The other job- uniform.
Not long before I retired we went from the rational "clean and in good repair" to the beyond stupid "business casual", a term that has no definition, but apparently does not include the jeans and denim work shirt I'd worn my whole career till then.
Casual but i still dress up a bit, especially as my position has increased within the company
Scrubs. Scrubs. And
More scrubs. Also a mask, gloves, cap and a gown over it- for the most part of 8 hours. Every other day put a lead apron on under the gown...heavy shït.
Awww, Zimmie... I'll bet you make scrubs look hot ;)
Awwww. I'm blushing.
Jeans and a decent shirt. If I have a meeting with customers/ engineers or suppliers I wear dress pants and a button shirt.
Hi ya Hotness!!
Hey baby! :)
A swim suit :)
Jeans and a T-shirt.
That's your contribution after being M.I.A.?
My work is school. T-shirts, woot!
Chef coat, dress cargo pants, lil hat.
Everyday, but they do the laundry for me.
Maybe a dumb question but why do so
Many professional cooks and chefs wear those kinds of pants?
Do they pose some sort of technical advantage in a kitchen?
No, its a good question. I don't need the pockets. I mean, I use them, but I could go without.
The only thing I can think of is the thickness. Protects us from burns, like the long sleeve coats. Can be hell, but they save our skin, literally.
When my son was in chef's school they had to wear the black and white checkered pants.
company t shirt/hat And dress pants/shoes... I said casual
I'm in high school. Every day is Casual Friday.
Uhh, I wear a uniform.
I usually wear a black cape with this really cool body armor and my utility belt. To protect my identity a wear a mask with pointy ears.
I wear the green pickle for work. Fhucking aircrew.
I love it lol
Ha. To tell you the truth it's not as comfortable as it looks. It traps heat in the summer and let's the cold in during the winter. But it sure does LOOK cool!
My job is school. Don't expect me to dress up and go to school. One or the other.
Well since I'm a student... Definitely casual.
No matter what I wear my boss gets food all over it. Every single time. Gah. 1.5 year olds...
I bet you receive great performance reviews though!
Mostly daddy kisses throughout the day.
Which is far more meaningful to me than all my stellar performance reviews in the Army combined.
You could get one of those hairdresser capes.
"Boss". Haha. That's so cute.
I'm about to start in that position full time again. Totally worth all the ruined outfits in the world :)
There's an easy solution to this, don't wear clothes.
Mr, that can backfire. Ever had a blowout in your lap? I'd rather throw extra clothing in the wash than get poo out of those places again (it was very hot abd I had on panties and a tee.Not enough protection)...
Hugo Boss euro cut slim fit suits....m addicted to them like crack. I buy them like crazy I have worn a "traditional suit in years.
Oh my. Sexy is right. Damn.
"Business casual" which people interpret differently. I usually go for more business than casual because, like someone else mentioned, dress as you'd like to be treated.
Plus, as a young woman, I don't think I would be taken seriously wearing casual clothing in an environment of mostly middle aged people.
You are a very wise young woman. How are you doing?
I want to see ibakes all dressed up
I'm surviving, improving daily. Thanks for asking, Tops!
I'm dominating a blazer & 4 inch heels today, Inge. I'll dedicate the look to you, ha.
K! I'm about to sit down in a meeting but I will after.
I'm footloose and fancy free for five days I am dressed for the stylist called. "Mother really you're going to go out like that!"
Tie, dress shirt, slacks, dress shoes.
I am not surprised. So how is it to get back to civilization and real cooking?
I have been knitting like crazy making hand-mitts because my daughter and husband are going camping in the mountains for a music festival.
Good to be back. A week of camping in the hot sun kicked my butt. I slept many hours in sat and sun to recover.
Good luck with the mittens.
I'm free free free free yeah have the house to myself for five days got the mitts done and got them off.
Usually either a suit with a pencil skirt and heels or slacks with a button-down blouse --- it's kind of informal here at the federal building but it doesn't feel right to be so casual at work
A pencil skirt is the best way to feel sexy
By the way.. Love your new profile pic...
Thanks! It's me and my girlfriend! :)
she hates that picture because she looks like a dork lol so I put up better ones of her/us on my Instagram --- it's StilettoMiss as well!
Lol :) I just haven't gotten used to saying fiancée yet!
I absolutely love pencil skirts!
They're basically the go-to outfit for everyday office wear :) I love them!
I only have one, that doesn't fit my child bearing hips unless I wear it like a high waisted one. And certainly not with my belly now!
Bathing suit and swim shoes I would say that's about as cash as you can get. That would be very interesting if someone came up with a formal bathing suit.
I want your job! I could totally work in a bikini everyday :)
You come up and I'll tell them you're my daughter that's visiting. I bounce around a little be wearing a bikini. If you taught a class there it would probably be the most popular class at the club!
Jeans and a polo shirt or button up is what I wear.
What do you do?
Run hotels....almost had to transfer to Beverly Hills about a decade ago if that gives u a hint to the company :-)
Not at all, lol. I avoided LA like the plague when I lived in So Cal :)
I worked for corp Hilton back then but out of an office in Memphis. Most corporate had to transfer to BH. It's what put me in the Carolinas back running hotels. Was going through divorce and needed to settle in somewhere for the chillins.
Hmm. I love a guy in a tie ;)
I've never been happier to be a guy in a tie....
All the fun things you can do with a tie...:D
I'm glad were on the same page.....again....
I'm wearing jean shorts, flip flops, and a very cute oversized blue shirt with white polka dots and a yellow bow. Plus my hair looks crazy because I went to bed with wet hair... very much casual. Unless we're expecting a client.
Officially it's business casual but it's been a valuable strategy to dress how you want to be treated. Turns out men in business clothes get more respect than jeans and polo men.
When I have to go in to deal with something, it's a pressed suit, tie or bow tie, button down and a hammer to bash people over the head with for their stupidity.
I love bowties.
Unemployed, would say nude if I was actually naked.
Last job: jeans & t-shirt. Retired: jeans & t-shirt.
I'm even worse than that I wear sweatpants and a T-shirt. Till i get 20 pounds back off.
We are quite country out here. Jeans, tank top, flip flops, and pig tails. So much better than every other job where I had to dress up and trip over my heels all day.
You have said what a klutz you are. The little girl I take up care of actually looks like you. She tends to walk into posts ans walls. She kind of bounces off. Goes oudh and goes on. I think of you when she does this.
I am a klutz. I cant even count how many broken necks I've almost had due to my 4" heels
I put her picture as my avatar. Note how cute she is and the scratch on her nose.
Engineer: Polo/Nice T-Shirt & jeans
Sounds like the life.
Sign on my office door says "clothing optional", but company policy states that my sign is invalid. Typically I wear jeans and a tshirt.
What the glitches?
Crose85 had the same thing happen. Doh!
Dressy casual. I teach and feel that students respond to me better when I am professionally dressed. They know it means we need to get down to business.
Sad thing is, I mostly work with dudes.
