Should students add their teachers as friends on Facebook (or vice-versa)?
I think it could be good. My physics teacher had a class of 9 kids this year. It was his first year teaching and I found some amazing youtube videos to suggest on exactly what we were learning but I couldn't get a hold of him 'til it was too late.
If teachers want to do that, they would be smart to make a professional FB page for communicating with students for professional purposes.
If I was a teacher I wouldn't accept any students as a Facebook friend.
No, but I also think adding family is a bad idea.
About family, I mean.
Just curious, but why?
I said no. For the teacher's sake, really. There are too many crazy parents who would probably flip out. I added all of the ones I like - but after graduation.
No, it's the teacher's personal life
I've also had one teacher who has requested me (he does this all of the time). Even though I had known him for a while because my brothers had him, it was still really creepy haha.
