Politics and emotion aside. In the Zimmerman-Martin trial, it's been said that the jury is unaware of what each charge carries sentencing wise. Would you say juries should or shouldn't be aware?
The fact of the matter is the jury is misinformed to assume manslaughter is a lesser sentence and it isn't quite. Therefore, if they cop out and chose that thinking its a lesser charge... How is that a fair decision? In my opinion, it isn't. ProJury.
I'd say they should, especially in this case since, there's not any evidence that proves either of the charges.
