Congress wants to ban broadcasting from the floor: Should Congressmen be allowed to go live on Facebook from the House floor?
I side with the republicans on this one. The democrats shouldn't use street protesting tactics like sit-ins in congress. They're elected officials and can give speeches, propose law, etc. Such tactics are entirely below their station.
People who have the power to hold investigations, issue subpoenas, and make laws don't need to resort to theatrics.
C-SPAN already available.
I'd rather they pay attention to what they're supposed to be doing instead of fooling around on their computers. The proceedings should be recorded anyhow.
They have Cspan already. Most of these politicos have the attention span of a gnat. You've heard of distracted driving? If they had Facebook on the house or senate floors, we'd have more distracted legislation. Just wonderful; give the kids another plaything
They want to ban broadcasting from inside of a government building that deals with the public? Oh sure. Definitely nothing shady going on there.
