The Republican national convention the (RNC) is under fire for comparing Donald trumps election to Jesus becoming the "new king" 2000 years ago. So, my question to you patriots is Donald trump the messiah?

He is not the messiah. He is a new president and one we need badly.

I'm pretty sure there is no religion of Trump. He's a politician, L Ron Hubbard. LOL
Trump had evangelical support but not because they thought he was the messiah.

Jesus is my one and only savior. Trump is my president though, and I thank God for that.

The republicans DID NOT compare Donald Trump to the birth of Christ Jesus!

To the dems, stop reading something into the statement that's not there! You guys will find something wrong with everything that the republicans and President-elect Donald Trump says or does.

Why don't you start looking and cleaning up your own party, starting with the Clintons and Obama?

Then who exactly is "the new king"?

In the context it was still talking about Jesus. When He was born He was the new King of the Earth.

“Over two millennia ago, a new hope was born into the world, a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind. Just as the three wise men did on that night, this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King."

This was the entire quote. The entire thing is talking about Jesus. King with a capital K in this context would represent another name for Jesus. Why would an entire paragraph talking about Christ have a sudden and vague shift to talking about Trump? That's stretching it if you ask me. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even really like Trump.

Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ the King.

A great witnessing, Headstrong!

No, but he is divinely supported.
