A Christmas-and-Easter Christian - or "Chreaster" - is a nominal Christian who only goes to church on Christmas and Easter. Are you a Chreaster?

I haven't been to a church since my mom stopped going because of her illness . I went one Christmas Eve because I missed it but the church totally changed, so i haven't been back since.

I've never heard the group called "cheaster" but I like it. I've heard the group called C&E though.

I do only go on those dates, but I don't consider myself a Christian.
I just go with my parents on those dates because I am always visiting then.

Nope. I've never voluntarily gone.. And the last time I went was when I was 8 or so.

I've heard it called Cheaster or keister, as in "on your butt".

My late Grandmother would call them "C and Es" or "CEOs" for Christmas and Easter Only.

This is what I've always heard them referred to as too.

I excommunicated the church at 15. But I do go to weddings.
