They would be red states. Have you seen the map in New York and Illinois? They are all red with a few islands of blue that control the entire state.

I did. Michigan was super red outside of Detroit. Minnesota was a sea of red as well.

Answer: TRUE. Hillary Clinton only won New York- outside of the City- by 600-ish votes.

Niagara County, New York went red for the first time since 1984. Suffolk County also regained its status as an island of deep red in the sea of blue that is the New York City metro area.
