Do you think the Electoral College should be abolished and U.S. elections should be won based solely on popular vote?
Keep the EC. Without it my nutty state of California would have too much power.
Nah, it's the only way Republicans get to be president lately.
No. mob rule!
How can any GOP not feel like they "stole" the election, just like in 2000? Your candidate was NOT the most popular. The PEOPLE did not chose him. Can you imagine the outrage if Trump had won the popular vote and lost the election? Ha ha ha.
I'd just make sure that all states would have forced proportional voting. California has many electoral college votes, and that leads to many discouraged conservative minorities.
Anyone who thinks our voting system should be based solely off of "popular vote" is dumb as a bag of rocks, dead from the neck up.
You have to have a reason to say that or else your opinion means nothing
Have you been watching the idiot squad (democratic protesters) on the news this afternoon? Reason enough
Ok but if the roles were reversed I'm sure republicans would be acting the exact same way
And when the Popular Vote becomes the Un-Popular Vote, as such the Electoral College is now, what will it be changed to......just because it is perceived to be un-fair, does not mean it is, there is no such thing as un-fair, however, there is such a thing as "just and unjust"........The Electral College is "just" by representing the States equally, recognizing those states equally among the entire "Union", and providing equal standing when "choosing and electing Presidents".......
It shouldn't disappear completely, but it should be altered
