My fellow Democrats: We have to change our message for the 2018 elections. 10 Senate seats up for election in States Donald Trump won are held by Democrats. We basically cannot pick up any seats, so we need to hold our turf and help every candidate.

The only message the Dems need to have is that everyone is on the same side: the left, pink collar workers striking for $15 are in the exact same boat as the right's blue collar workers hoping their jobs aren't outsourced. Both sides want a job that pays them enough to live on, and to be appreciated by the companies and corporations that employ them. Going out and getting a better education or job retraining isn't really an option for either "side" because if you're not making enough money to pay your rent, then you're not making enough money to afford a re-education, regardless of collar color.

Please don't try to move to the center of your liberal left beliefs. They work perfectly where you are.

I agree...heh, heh.

How is your suggested solution "changing your message"? Your suggestion is a tactic not a message change.

We have to do both.

No. You guys are doing great! Don't change a thing!
Just keep telling non-democrats and everyone who lives in the Midwest that they're insignificant, stupid, homophobic racists who hate science and you'll keep those seats for sure.

And if you don't, you can always accuse the winners of being russian collaborators.

We need to stop isolating ourselves in the coast and tell every state that they matter. We have to give aid to Wyoming, and the Dakotas, and Mississippi, and Texas, and Florida, and Utah, and Michigan, and Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, and Tennessee, and Nevada, and California, and Washington, and all states of all political and social types, if we want to stay as a strong and united party.

You guys also have to move towards the center. Reelecting Pelosi and placing Keith Ellison in charge of the DNC is not they way to do it. Nominating a radical like Elizabeth Warren in 2020 would also be a colossal mistake on your party's part.

I disagree, Glux- Elizabeth Warren would be a fantastic move for the Democratic Party. I think they'd be unbeatable if they went further left.

12/18/16 1:06 pm

Is there anyone further left than warren?
If so, get on that bandwagon right now, because, as you guys said before the election, left is the new middle, and you don't want to be accused of being anti-progress!

Who, me? I dislike Warren and Ellison. They are the wrong choices for the future. We have to go from a leftist party to a center-left one if we want to stay competitive.

Hehe... Maybe I should have filtered this so only Democrats can see it.
