Something is wrong with our government/economy when young people have to be haunted for 10+ years by their student debt.
If you don't want $250,000 in student loan debt don't go to expensive school. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a community college where you can get a four-year degree under 50000
If the investment was worth it, then the debt is worth it. Unfortunately a lot of college students not only choose unprofitable majors that poor ROI's, but also many should never have chosen college to begin with, irrespective of what the Dept of Ed and teachers unions push.
The "wrong" belongs more to the universities that charge exorbitant tuition.
