Arizona has always been my favorite. I love the natural beauty, the climate, the fascinating history, the amazing wildlife, the people, and the diehard conservative politics of the Grand Canyon State.

If you haven't been to Sedona, I highly recommend a visit. Absolutely beautiful.

Thanks tlaney! Don't worry, I'm well prepared for the desert heat. You get used to it pretty fast. I lived in Tucson from 2001 until 2006, so I know what summers are like there. I will be moving to the Phoenix metro area this time around. Cave Creek, to be specific.

It will certainly fit my politics quite well. Arizona is a heavily conservative state and the Phoenix Metro area (where I will be living) was one of only two major metropolitan areas in the country that stood out as a conservative stronghold in this election.

Congrats on your move too! Any good restaurant recommendations in the Cave Creek area?

Thanks congrats to you too. Honestly I don't know much about cave creek. I've driven through it a couple of times but have never eaten there. Some good scottsdale restaurants are grimaldis pizzeria, sol Cocina, Vinburger, malees Thai restaurant, jewel of the crown (indian), manuels, cien agave, Kona grill

Honestly AZ, the Phoenix Valley is a great place to live. I am just bitter because I grew up in the northeast and just want to get back home. But I'm sure you'll love living there.

No, I love Georgia. I've just always wanted to go back to Arizona. It's closer to family, has a climate that suits me better, and it's absolutely gorgeous.

God no! I can't wait to vote McCain and Flake out during the next primary season and replace them with some hardcore conservatives.

Texas is great, but nothing beats Arizona for me.

Oh, sure. I'm moving to Cave Creek. It's in Maricopa County and it is considered part of the Phoenix metro area. It's north of Scottsdale.
