Summer is short
Really? Do you have air condition in school?
Of course. We are in arizona. People only live here as a result of the invention of air conditioning.
So why a short school year
Modified year round. I think it's better, nor a fan of the long summer lay off for students

I'm not off until Friday. But, I don't go back until January 9.
That's when we go back, kids start back on the 10th.
