Very much so. Alexa and her little sisters the Dot twins have added a whole new level of entertainment and convenience I only dreamed of just a few years ago. When there is nothing interesting on the hundreds of cable channels we have, Amazon Prime videos have never let us down. When we need a soundtrack for whatever it is we're doing, as likely as not it will be streaming Prime Music. And when I need another handful of buck converters or a selection of multicolored LEDs to go with them, and I want them sooner rather than later, what am I going to do, hunt for an electronics supply store in the city and hope they have what I want in stock? No. I'm going to get them from Amazon, for a fair price, within two or three days, guaranteed.

It's rare that I use it. I can usually find what I need cheaper at Target and the search results are too chaotic for me to find what I need. I'll continue shopping elsewhere.

Include all their Web Services customers too. If they make life better, Amazon has something to do with it. Netflix, Samsung, Comcast, Adobe, AirBnB, etc.. Its hosting technology makes a lot of other things possible.

You can get good stuff without going to cities when I'm not in one. And can actually read reviews from normal people (if you can get past the short free product reviews they do so much now).
Bezos not so much.

Yes! We order all kinds of stuff off Amazon all the time...diapers, groceries, supplements, video games, you name it. Prime is great too...not just for shipping but for streaming. We also use the book club thing.

I love my prime account. It has saved me so many trips to the store for little things that I don't need RIGHT now and can wait 2 days for. I usually save a little bit on the price too. I get about 4-8 Amazon packages per week, especially for my YouTube review channel.

Yes! Having groceries and home goods delivered while pregnant made things way easier for me. For me, Amazon replaced Target.

I've never shopped on Amazon, and think I visited the Amazon Homepage once or twice, because I wanted to see Tony's web design handiwork. Otherwise, my tendency is to shop at specific stores/sites, as opposed to a distribution center. Those drones sound kinda novel, though! π

I love it, I use it for researching things I want to buy. They deliver it to my door in 2 days. If I don't like it or it's not right they pick it up.

I may cancel my account. Ordered something 6 weeks ago and was supposed to arrive by November 21st. Still hasn't arrived and called Amazon the other day. No answer to the emails they sent out. Really disappointed in Amazon and who they elect to bring on as a 3rd party vendor.

When those three packages arrived yesterday and I didn't have to go out in the freezing cold and snow...you bet it made my life better!

Even if you ignore the convenance of a shopping with Amazon prime, the awesome new Grand Tour (Top Gear reborn!) I would say my kindle alone (using a Kindle Oasis now) has improved my life by making it way easier to read anywhere and everywhere.
