Has Amazon made your life better?
The website, no. The rainforest, yes.
I don't know about better. Maybe easier.
Yes, helped rid myself of excess $$$
Very much so. Alexa and her little sisters the Dot twins have added a whole new level of entertainment and convenience I only dreamed of just a few years ago. When there is nothing interesting on the hundreds of cable channels we have, Amazon Prime videos have never let us down. When we need a soundtrack for whatever it is we're doing, as likely as not it will be streaming Prime Music. And when I need another handful of buck converters or a selection of multicolored LEDs to go with them, and I want them sooner rather than later, what am I going to do, hunt for an electronics supply store in the city and hope they have what I want in stock? No. I'm going to get them from Amazon, for a fair price, within two or three days, guaranteed.
Their very affordable tablets did.
Yes! We are a five Kindle family.
We have two Kindles and two Fires. But I do all my reading on iPad using Kindle app.
It's certainly made me poorer.
It's rare that I use it. I can usually find what I need cheaper at Target and the search results are too chaotic for me to find what I need. I'll continue shopping elsewhere.
Include all their Web Services customers too. If they make life better, Amazon has something to do with it. Netflix, Samsung, Comcast, Adobe, AirBnB, etc.. Its hosting technology makes a lot of other things possible.
It's just a website. Do I use it once a year? Yes. Has it made my life better? Hell no. Only Google and CNN have
You can get good stuff without going to cities when I'm not in one. And can actually read reviews from normal people (if you can get past the short free product reviews they do so much now).
Bezos not so much.
eBay for used things, Amazon for new things
I just got the Amazon Prime app and I'm ready to make my first order.
Augh.. they don't yet deliver here?!?
Amazon prime = Poorer
Very much so.
Yes. They save me money and time.
Better...No! Easier... Yes...
But isn't easier better? Certainly harder is worse eh?
Could be. True!
Just did my driveway. Half ice, half slush.
Easier would be my guy doing it. Better would be a heated driveway!
Yes! We order all kinds of stuff off Amazon all the time...diapers, groceries, supplements, video games, you name it. Prime is great too...not just for shipping but for streaming. We also use the book club thing.
I love my prime account. It has saved me so many trips to the store for little things that I don't need RIGHT now and can wait 2 days for. I usually save a little bit on the price too. I get about 4-8 Amazon packages per week, especially for my YouTube review channel.
We still use it, but not as much, since they slapped another tax on it‼️
Yes! Having groceries and home goods delivered while pregnant made things way easier for me. For me, Amazon replaced Target.
** Both better...and less affordable **
I've never shopped on Amazon, and think I visited the Amazon Homepage once or twice, because I wanted to see Tony's web design handiwork. Otherwise, my tendency is to shop at specific stores/sites, as opposed to a distribution center. Those drones sound kinda novel, though! 😃
Amazon has made my life easier, not better.
seems like we receive a delivery almost every day. we buy most stuff we need there now.
Definitely. I use most of their streaming services and frequently order physical products as well.
I order from Amazon Prime frequently. For me having heavy items like dog and cat food, cat litter delivered is great. It is really difficult for me to handle bulky, heavy items.
Not with the reason hack of my account,
***recent not reason
Easier, not better
I would argue that easier generally equals better
And I disagree, now what?
Hasn't made it any worse either. You're just sucking up to the man, Tony. I get it. We all have to work for the man. Merry Christmas. ✌🏻
Nah we all have to work for the things we want in life. Amazon just seems to have all the things we want 😊
So does Walmart.
I think Amazon has more variety. But you're right Walmart is good too because it's very cheap.
I love it, I use it for researching things I want to buy. They deliver it to my door in 2 days. If I don't like it or it's not right they pick it up.
It certainly makes it easier!
I may cancel my account. Ordered something 6 weeks ago and was supposed to arrive by November 21st. Still hasn't arrived and called Amazon the other day. No answer to the emails they sent out. Really disappointed in Amazon and who they elect to bring on as a 3rd party vendor.
If it's from China that's to be expected. It's not their fault, it's all the customs and crap. Thats my guess for such a delay.
I hope that is the case.
When those three packages arrived yesterday and I didn't have to go out in the freezing cold and snow...you bet it made my life better!
Even if you ignore the convenance of a shopping with Amazon prime, the awesome new Grand Tour (Top Gear reborn!) I would say my kindle alone (using a Kindle Oasis now) has improved my life by making it way easier to read anywhere and everywhere.
