Don't you just hate it when you're making Christmas cookies and some of them don't come out right...and just have no choice but to eat the defects? Terrible, I tell ya, just terrible.
My sister made cookies my mom used to make and they didn't come out right. I offered to take them off her hands. Didn't work. Only got two and my dad ate them. 😔
I know, right?
There may be a few accidental amputations of gingerbread men in addition to any other mistakes.
There should be a word for the little teeny white lies we tell ourselves. Rescuing kittens, Christmas cookies, little naps - life's little treats!
On behalf of husbands everywhere, I would like to point out that we will be happy to "bite the bullet" and make the sacrifice of eating the rejects any time you need us to. •<];o)>HOHOHO
I'm sure. 😉👍🏼
The absolute worst 🍪🍪🍪🍼
No. I eat the bad ones and then look forward to the fresh batch coming out of the oven.
I hear you. I mean, you can't give away those defective cookies, but someone HAS to eat them. 😃
It's a quality control measure. 😉
Terrible job, but somebody has to do it!
See my comment above for the identity of the "someone" who "has to do it"!
I can find something wrong with almost all of them. I'm very particular.
I know exactly what you mean.
When you make 1000-1500 cookies, you are going to have a few casualties.
