If you were selling a car on Craigslist and recieved a text saying "2005 Hyndai Accent, kindly send an email to asap, hes the one interested". Would you send email or ignore? Just seems weird to me.

If you actually want to sell the car, you will reply to it the email.

And, like everyone below said, if it seems like a scam, then cut ties, but you should reply just in case.

You can get killed selling on Craigslist - no joke has happened a lot - meet at a well lit police station

I tell people how to contact me in the description. Unless they follow those instructions I ignore them.

I sell a lot of stuff on CL, this is likely a scam. Typically someone will scan the ad quickly and ask for an email. It's the start of a wire fraud scam. The giveaways are poor literacy in the text and asking questions that are clearly in the ad. If you respond with an email, then you generally get some goofy story and a full price offer. Payment is with a money order & an intermediary will pick up the car.

This is usually where it leads: thegarage.jalopnik.com/please-dont-fall-for-the-craigslist-money-order-scam-1742641006. CL has details on their site as well.

Ignore. Makes little sense and sounds like composed by a ten year old.

Yeah. I just sent a text back saying "Tell him to text or call me". Not sure if it's some kind of scam or something.
