Is it OK for someone to make fun of another person for saying something stupid?

For choices absolutely, but for a disability, or something that you didn't cause, no way

I think it's okay if the person is clearly convinced that what they are saying is the gospel truth and anything to the contrary is absurd. You're not going to offend them, as they are most often looking for a confrontation anyway.

Depends on the person and how savage your response is. I have a disabled brother. No one would dare make fun of him. If I see people say something I think is stupid I try to debate them. Just because I think it's stupid doesn't mean I'm not the one being stupid. I try to be respectful while telling them I disagreed.
If it's real stupid like "Israel sent trained dolphins with lasers on their heads to kill "pakestinans" or something like that, then yes.......I make fun of them. Probably not the kindest thing to do but I have done it.
In general, I try to treat people like I want to be treated and I don't like being made fun of, do you?

I'm all for it. I think it's OK to make fun of people for the choices they make.
