Any government in principle? No.
An uncontrolled, de-limited, tax-happy, spend-happy government which encroaches on the rights of its citizens? Yes.

But all governments eventually become the second type, and most start out that way.

Yes, they cause most of the problems they claim o be trying to solve.

Although the government may seem like it is always causing problems, there is a reason it was created. Without it, there would be a lot more fighting going on and we would prob still be some kind of nomadic group of foragers that wouldn't last long

I've been recently taking a class on Global Patterns and the government almost always ends up being something like a democracy or a republic, just like the US. So yeah everyone evolves word up

The Hobbesian notion that without government we'd all be fighting each other all the time is pure propaganda. Society develops before governments do. They have to.

That governments develop into democracies is the best way governments have found to fleece and control the people. If the people believe that, "we are the govrernment", they are less likely to resist.

Nah, government is our only chance at fighting to corporations. It's our only chance to save the planet too. We need a new one so that we have a fighting chance against the corporate tyranny that is currently running all of our lives.

Even Obama believes corporations are important. That is why he supports lowering the corporate income tax to 28%

Yes, corporations are the problem. Like when Microsoft steals 40% of GDP each year. Or when Apple uses drone strikes to kill civilians. Corporate tyranny does not "run your life" - government tyranny does.

It's always amazing to me that people villanize "the robber barons", who raised wages, lowered prices, and made the economy far more productive in the 19th c.; while praising governments, which killed 100+ million people in the 20th.

Government isn't raping the planet and killing all of its inhabitants. Government is allowing it to happen, and so many of you are conditioned to think that government is the enemy, when you all know that government is being controlled externally.

Government is not the Solution, Government is the problem

An excellent analogy. But rather than an acute infection government is a chronic condition that can only be managed and controlled. It's impact minimized in every way possible. Sadly I do not think man will ever cure government.

Big government is equivalent to cancer.
