Physical wallets may soon become extinct as mobile payments via smart phone are set to take off within the next few years or so. Are you ready to ditch your wallet?
Money and credit/debit cards are only one of many things my wallet is used to house. Even if they ceased to exist in the way they do today, I would still use a wallet for all of its other contents.
I'd still need it for ID's, credit cards, drug money....
I like physical money though.

It's about using existing radio waves to create communication devices that don't need batteries.
That is amazing. I can't say I understand how it works, but it's pretty awesome if it comes to fruition.
But...wallets are another accessory. Whatever shall I do?!
In all seriousness, I am kind of skeptical. What if not everything goes as planned, something doesn't go through, etc? Or if the system shuts down. It's dangerous.
Definitely some good concerns. I'm sure there will be bumps, but I think long term it'll be a good thing. Of course, I hate carrying a wallet so I'm looking forward to a day where I don't have to.
Fair enough. And less credit card stealing as well. Less losing important things. It has its plus sides.
