What do YOU call it?
We eat BBQ, but we cook it on a grill.
If you're going to BBQ chicken then you get BBQ'd chicken... Not grilled chicken. If you grill chicken you get grilled chicken, not BBQ'd chicken.
You can have a BBQ cookout and actually grill instead. I mean, no one should be arguing with grilling some steaks even if you are calling it a BBQ. Just don't say "Hey let's BBQ some steaks"
BBQ. Both noun and verb.
2 completely different things---- grill- quick cook of meat over hot fire of either gas or charcoal/BBQ- slow cook large piece of meat over charcoal
That's how I use the terms.
If it's gas it's a grill. If it's charcoal it's a barby.
Yep, me too.
Grill. To me BBQ is a verb not a noun.
Exactly..."I am going to BBQ on the grill."
I use grill as either a noun or a verb. "Hey, honey, let's grill out tonight."
True. Grill can be either but BBQ is a verb to me.
