Are you better off than you deserve to be?
I feel very lucky I don't make much money but I still have my lady and my children with me. and that's all I need aside from basic needs.
I'm kind of shocked how many people answered no. Do you know how many people die of infection just because they don't have toilets or water? Just the option we can drive-thru and get food whenever makes us better off than most.
that settles it. I'm moving to ND
I'm surprised the Income filter didn't really change anything.
Oriely if I'm an idiot than ur a pokemon
NO!!!!!! you have got to be kidding me do you have a loving family?? then your fine
Definitely. The Lord has been very kind.
70%of democrats are whinnying bastards
you deserve to have what you have worked to earn, nothing more. You do not deserve to have what others have worked to earn.
@BMinus I couldn't have said it better myself! Stop complaining and think of all you have!!!
I second the whole not-deserving of shit. I'm a fairly decent person but I don't deserve anything. Only what I work for. I'm happy where I am.
This entire map should be royal blue. Americans are whiny bastards with no sense of reality beyond the 15 inches in front of their faces.
There are some truly insightful and humble observations mixed in with the usual obsessions with the lazy and undeserving. IMHO those who do nothing in life either have a trust fund or a health or mental problem. Everybody else works to eat and/or keep up with the Jonses'. But for the grace of God...
Seeing that I'm smarter than 99% of the population. I say I deserve every thing I have. I live a very comfortable life and enjoy the finer things that most people will never get the chance to enjoy.
good old modest north Dakota.. stand strong in being humble. my family came from ND but very Californian now.
in my humble opinion, very few people deserve what they already have, and the majority of people think they deserve more. more what? more everything!
actually work for their money have to give it to people who do nothing. I say you get what you give.
I'll say what I've believed in for a long time. We Rupublicans don't want to "spread the wealth" because we believe in capitalism and getting what you deserve. When you spread the wealth people who sit on their butts all day long end up with more than they deserve. How fair is that? That people who
@arborealit don't be so closed minded. All republicans are not the same.
I deserve nothing...but I have been given everything. I went to school for eight years..have a doctorate...and practice medicine. Yes I worked for that but what I have I don't deserve. Deserve is such a strong word and there are so many people out there that are much more "deserving" than I am!
@drbrule amen brother!!! Exactly how I feel!!!
???????????????? fuck dat.
At first I thought that I deserved more, but it's not necessarily true. I haven't really done anything to deserve more than I have other than have potential. I intend to change that.
Pretend it's Thanksgiving Day. Does your answer to this question change?
What did I do to ...
be born a citizen of the wealthiest country?
be born of parents w/o drug/alcohol/health/mental problems?
be born without health/mental problems?
Survive thus far unharmed despite bad ideas and daily risks?
I can never work hard enough to deserve what I have
Im on my way to heaven. I am much better off than I deserve to be.
I said no. We have a pretty comfortable life but we have worked hard so I think we deserve what we have.
....still confused: "yes" & "no" mean, by consensus, what.......¿ ?
No one deserves anything. Therefore you cannot be better off.
I voted no. I love my life and wouldn't ask for anything more, although it hasn't always been easy for me. that being said, I feel I deserve my happiness.
ok, I'm confused: doesn't a 'yes' answer mean, essentially, 'I have a better life than I deserve'? If so, why do so many say 'no', which I infer (wrongly?) means, 'no; I deserve this life I have'—which for most Americans, is much better than all ppl in history?
Interesting that a higher percentage of Republicans say Yes. I said no: I work hard, I've done pretty well, but I am happy to pay higher taxes to spread my good fortune around. Why so greedy, Republicans?
wait whoa misread ? NO.
I worked hard to get what I have. definitely yes
so, people born with deformities or into dysfunctional families just get what they deserve?
Your life is what you make of it, you get what you deserve. So by definition, we are all what we deserve to be, no better, no worse.
I'm 13. As far as I know neither of my parents got to where they are today dishonestly. So, yes, I suppose I deserve to be here.
why are people being villanized for success?
What type of question is this? I had nothing. I never took a handout and now I am very blessed by my wife's and I own hard work.
I put yes. I live in the US and I'm not persecuted because off what I believe in. People in other countries are beaten badly because they something wrong or believe in God. but here in the US we have allot more than we deserve
sorry have not haven
it took my a long time to answer this, I said no, but I really am a good person it's just my mom messing everything up for me, she blowed all of my dads money that was met for me and my little brother they haven been divorced 1 year but they were legally separated for 6 and she a taker not a giver
If my life matched my personality and skills, I would be a millionaire. Too bad my family is poor :(
I can be a real jerk to my friends. They are so great. They stick with me through everything. Even 7th grade ... Which is like hell.
Life, and I couldn't ask for more.
Yes I am. I have a wonderful
my life is awesome! but I deserve the world! why not?
That doesn't mean I don't go to work everyday though - I'm just looking at my life in the big picture.
I said Yes. If it wasn't for unearned Grace I'd be sitting here drunk tonight, crying in my bottle. I was what we in AA call a 'Poor me, Poor me, Pour me a Drink' kind of a drunk.
