The press is saying the crash in San Francisco this weekend was pilot error and that pilot only had 43 hours on this plane. Does this make you more nervous about flying?

Pilots are extensively trained on simulators these days. Actual flight hours aren't a big deal. Plus it was just a 777 he was new to. He had over 10,000 hrs on a 747. It's like driving a rental car, new to you, but it's still a car.

Irrelevant. Over generalizing one circumstance to all circumstances unproductive. Accidents occur from any number of factors, not simply a singular case of possible lack of training.

No it was an IOE. There were 4 crew members in the flight deck.
