Do you have a positive view of Chris Christie?
Nope. But if he were running for pres I'd be looking at the vp...he's a heart attack waiting to happen.
He is bipartisan, and tells it like it is, for the most part the people of new jersey support him, so I like him too. I don't like how he tried to meddle with Rutgers university though...
Yes he's very bipartisan and honest, we could use more of both in DC.
Not since he embraced the Emperor Obummer.
Bear, he didn't embrace him, he did what was best for his state.
I'm hearing; I don't like Christie because he has been seen with the devil Obama.
And he is willing to work with democrats to achieve solutions.
That about sum it up?
Who said that?
The weeks before the election this app was filled with Romney fans ranting about the betrayal by Christie.
He stood up to the extreme members of the Republican Party and they hate him for it. He is their best shot at the White House in 2016.
Lord help us all!
Maybe your party can find a legitimate raper to run instead?
What's Todd Aiken doing in 2016? How about Rubio? Oh yeah he isn't extreme enough either.
Not immigration! He is conservative on most other issues though.
He's a good governor for a wacko-liberal state like New Jersey. But he's too liberal for me. I wouldn't want him to be the president.
We are not all wackos though.
Oh god! Too liberal?!? NO ONE in America is too liberal. I wish we had some REAL liberals. You need to visit some other countries. Ones with REAL liberals.
Barbear-of course not...just the majority of the voters there.
Beach-I don't even know what to say to that.
I wouldn't really call New Jersey "liberal"
He's pro life & against gay marriage. How is he too liberal for you?
You respond by saying "man am I happy I live in America where there are no TRUE liberals."
Could you Elaborate?
I like his budget policies and his bipartisanship. As an actual person, i find his brazenness annoying and off putting. But I like him
Between his "don't give a damn about presidential politics right now" comment and his public support of Obama's efforts during the disaster, he's earned my respect.
Its refreshing to see even small doses of bipartisanship.
By the way he is a RHINO wake up republicans.
Make that RINO.
I hate party purists who condemn everyone who doesn't embrace the party agenda as a RINO
He is very left for a republican I don't even like the republican party but if they cram another idiot into a presidential candidate they will loose and we will have Hillary. I would rather vote for a trained monkey than Hillary though so I'm stuck.
No, I like his vigor and attitude, but his stances are too conservative for me. His environmental ones aren't too bad, but he's still a union busting, anti gay, cut spending/taxes republican.
Yes, just as Obama is too moderate. Christie is nice and packs a punch, but his policies are crap.
You mean Obama is too liberal and Christie is too moderate...
Political, it is rude to put words in other people's mouths. I agree with beachst. I find Obama too moderate and Christie too conservative. That is my opinion and looks to be beachst's opinion also.
Squib, how did I put words into Beach's mouth. I posted after Beach. Lol I was showing how we disagreed. Geez
I wish Obama was too liberal!! Then we might really get somewhere. This isn't the time for people pleasing. Roosevelt wasn't people pleasing when he was pushing tough reforms.
But who know, I may vote for him because he is pro-business and not pro-union. However, he won't be my first pick.
I like the way that he's a pragmatic guy who gets things done and he might help shape up the GOP in the right direction. But there's a strong chance that he'd never get passed the primaries.
I am a conservative, but I do not have a positive image of Christie. Loyalty is a powerful, unfortunately Christie supported Romney, but he backstabbed him in a fox news interview. Fox asked him is governor Romney going to visit hurricane sandy
..... Victims and he said, "I don't know and I don't care". However he did make teacher unions less powerful. I will keep that in mind if he is the Republican nominee.
Well I understand why he wouldn't care, the only reason Romney would have went was for political gain. He had no business being there, but Obama was president and had every reason to be there. The people's well being is more important than politics..
It was the way he said it! It was like he had a grudge on Romney for not picking him to be Romney's vp.
Obama is the leader of the country and had a good reason to go besides political gains. Why would Christie care about the governor of Massachusetts visiting his hurricane rampaged state?
The way he said it was rude. Why don't you care Christie? He is your party nominee. You should care about what Romney is doing.
For the record, I would not want Romney visiting Sandy victims. It would have been a political mistake.
He shouldn't care about what he's doing when his state his torn to shreds... He made the right decision in my opinion
Sure he should care about Romney, unless he wants another 4 years. Should he be on the campaign trail with Romney? NOOOO
I personally really like him and I want to cast my vote for him in 2016
Not going to happen
