You walk into a public restroom with four stalls. The two in the middle are taken. The entry and exit door are directly behind you as you face the four stalls. Which open stall do you choose?
I don't go left too well!
Most people don't take the first stall, so that's my choice. It's frequently the cleanest.
eww, public restrooms, yuck! i wait. sorry!
Typically I like to go more toward the back of the restroom, and I'm not sure about the layout here, but "right" felt like the correct choice.
Which ever ones closer when I'm about to blow.
Wait, I'm facing the stalls & the entrance & exit doors are directly behind me? I don't remember any public restrooms laid out exactly like that. That means people going in & out of stalls can be seen from whatever's right outside the restroom.
I think the doors are usually positioned so you can't see that stalls from outside. I'l have to pay more attention.
Meanwhile, I don't know. Sometimes I take the one nearer the entrance, sometimes nearer the exit. No particular plan.
I'm a little confused at the layout of the bathroom. Are the stalls on the right and left actually means "furthest from the door"?
Where are the sinks? Are the air dryers on the side wall or adjacent to the sinks? Does the door swing? Are there urinals, or all we all women for the sake of the question?
You've clearly given this quite a bit of thought. :)
I usually go to the left.
I have always heard that the stall closest to the door is the cleanest because it is used by the fewest people. Don't know if that is true, but it is the one I usually choose.
And I had always heard the opposite, so I always go farthest from the door. :O
I wonder which of us is getting the most germs. Nevermind. Sometimes ignorance is bliss ...
Well I heard the third one from the door gets used the most & the one closest is used the least.
This. Just. Got. Interesting.
Might be better off to use the sink. ????
Haha....not sure which is correct. I agree with you though, January. I am not sure I really want to know. :)
This convo kind of makes me want to park myself in a public restroom for a couple hours & just take note of which stalls get used most/least. That wouldn't be weird, right?
Just curious if there would be a difference in the gender filter...
So far it's trending an even 50/50 split.
