Were there any issues or policies that you supported or opposed during the Bush 2 era that today you feel the opposite about under Bush 3?
I was uncommitted either way on the Patriot Act. Now that I understand it, and see its negative effects on our civil liberties, I'm 100% in favor of repealing it.
Also, I've had a large shift in thinking regarding the 'War on Fill-in-the-Blank.'
None of them, since LBJ's 'War on Poverty' (or Prohibition, going back further) have done jack about the problems they were supposed to fix, and have each resulted in the dramatic and un-Constitutional expansion of the Federal government's power.
Folks are still poor, drinking and using drugs.
And don't even get me started on the 'War on Terror.' Terrorism is a tactic, not an enemy. What's next? The 'War on Aerial Bombardment'? The 'War on Frontal Assault'? The 'War on Ambush'?
To the thinking man, the concept of war on anything other than a named, physical, tangible, human or animal enemy is a sham meant to further separate us from our money and our liberties.
We look at the parties but neither have any effect on the bureaucracy.
Don't like bush 3 anymore than bush 2
I oppose government over reach over spending and stupidity no matter what letter follows the name of the president.
Not just, "no", but HELLLL NO!
I have a feeling a lot of people aren't being 100% honest here
Nope. Break the two party paradigm!
"Meet the new boss; same as the old boss."
- The Who
I know who Bush 3 is, but does everyone else know?
If you can't see the difference between Bush and Obama, you don't know how to read a graph...
I was just wondering if everyone understands Rebels logic.
Pretty sure everyone who's followed Rebel knows at least someone who thinks that way...
I hope so
