Will you allow any and all of your civil liberties to be destroyed if a bureaucrat cites national security as the reason?
Independence and individuality yo
"Give me liberty, or give me death."
The citizens of Gonzales said it best.
Come and take it.
Florida, I hope that that's a sarcastic vote.
Fuck national security. The Constitution is still the supreme law of the land, and trumps any bureaucrat.
Anarchy scares me.
Reb- many of these discussions lead me to think of anarchy.
Why did this one?
Probably because everyday I see more and more liberties taken away in the name of national security and it's really beginning to piss me off.
Good. Use that anger to fuel your drive to bring about real change.
@Earlybird, Neither myself nor @Rebel (I don't think) desire anarchy. We just desire to live our lives in peace with each other and those around us, and we desire to be left alone to do exactly that. I assume you feel the same? Liberty, not anarchy.
Well actually, I guess we all already have.
Workin' man's gotta work! Got no time to be marching' 'bout this and that. Have to maintain the free loaders cuz we lives in a democacy and we're now the minoriti.
Don't forget the bombs you have to drop on people
Most people say no yet we see no protest
That's because the media have done such a good job of making those of who do protest feel like isolated weirdos, and politicians have succeeded in getting us bickering over 'D' vs. 'R' instead of warily watching over them.
@Rebel, Have you heard about this yet? Sounds like just what we need.
I can't wait to meet you pinky
