Do you prefer to hit the streets on Halloween or stay home to greet the costumed visitors?
Neither. I prefer to go to a movie or something.
Answer the door, but nobody ever braves the long, dark, scary tunnel-like driveway winding through the woods anyway. It's a win-win. More just-in-case candy for me the next day.
My family has a rule that once you turn ten you stay home. It's really fun at home. We eat most of the candy because no one comes by our house. My dad always puts on a horror movie and when that's done we watch the Adams Family.
Is it OK to stay home & Hit the little visitors? You know, the ones who don't say, "trick or treat" or just reach in & grab as much as they can when You're handing out a few pieces to each & not holding out a bowl saying "go for it!" :-) Just funnin'
I love staying home & handing out candy. We hand out cans of Coke & full size candy bars. I dress up as a witch. I love seeing all of the different costumes and hearing their reactions when seeing our decorated yard & getting the candy.
When the boys were young I loved taking them out, but now I enjoy staying home and seeing all the little ones come to my house.
I don't want to miss out on trick or treating with our son, so I said go out.
Halloween is HUGE in my neighborhood! We get around 300 trick or treaters. I dress up like Robert Smith from the Cure and hand out candy.
I didn't know how to vote. I am always at work on Halloween
We sit in our garage and watch all of the kids come by. We love the little ones most. They are so cute.
I like to go out and go to the party xD wooo!
