Ugh, gross. Our neighbors have their taxidermist spend the night on a regular basis though...

My husband's buddy owns a lot of creepy dead things. He's tried to give a few to my husband. Nope. It's one of two things I tell him can't come in the house (a gun being the other). I prefer my pets to be alive.

Made a rug out of a bear I had to put down. (Salvaged & ate all the meat we could, too.) Next one I hope to make into a coat (already have enough coyote hides for the lining).

My brother-in-law has a stuffed bobcat that freaks me out every time I see it.

I don't want to see them after I eat them.

My brother-in-law got a duck and it is mounted so it appears to be landing on the water and sits on my sisters coffee table. It looks really cool. Very unique!

I hate taxidermy! I can respect people who kill animals for food, but not for decoration. And people stuffing their pets is just creepy. Who would want a dead animal sitting in their house?!?

Not yet. My uncle and I plan to get a few gerbils that didn't make it taxidermied

Heck no. Modern, refined style and taxidermy don't get along. Plus, I find it rather nasty.
