When you're cooking, do you usually measure out the correct amount of the ingredients or just eyeball it?
When I bake I measure carefully. When cooking its eyeball and taste
When I cook, I eyeball it. When I bake, I measure.
Measure, but quickly. I don't care that it's perfect.
I'm very OCD when it comes to cooking, I measure every ingredient precisely and follow the directions verbatim. I'm not a very good cook and have bad estimation skills so I don't trust my ability to "wing it" lol.
I don't cook much so have no confidence in my eyeballing ability. I measure everything.
I'm the exact same EB! If I didn't follow the correct instructions I would probably butcher the recipe and burn the kitchen down. Lol.
Eyeball it & my kids use the smoke detectors as kitchen timers to know when the meal is ready.
Eyeball unless I'm baking.
I measure for anything involving cups, like 1/3 cup. Anything requiring teaspoons or tablespoons just gets eyeballed.
I measure with new recipes but eye it up after
That would depend on what I'm making. I cook from scratch and I just put stuff together most of the time. If it has to be something very accurate and precise I weigh and measure.
Otherwise my OCD would make we go crazy.
I measure it out to a t almost every time.
Depends, if I've never made it before, sure but if its one of my standards nope never
Depends entirely on what it is. Most things, I eyeball. Baking, I measure, at least the critical ingredients.
Depends on what I'm making and how important exact measurements are. If I'm baking bread, for example, I measure almost everything. Tuna salad, not so much.
