I did make gluten free blackberry shortcake with fresh blackberries that I picked this week.

I just used better batter GF biscuit mix to make drop biscuits for the bottom layer. I partially mashed my blackberries & cooked them with a little raw sugar. I poured that over the biscuit & topped it with a little whipped cream.

Okie - Dead soybeans don't count? I figured a hot dog was at least in the right spirit, but I do have a little piece of steak left over from last night's dinner. Oh, and shrimp; I really should cook those today, anyway.

By the way, Tops, I had my initial appointment with the weight doctor Tuesday - 1-1/2 hours of solid talking with him. I REALLY like him & the program. So there will be a little chocolate involved today, but not a pigout.

Rosebud Ohio
