All things being equal, do you make an effort to buy local and/or American made products when you can?
No, mainly because all things are NOT equal. Particularly prices.
Except cars. Our cars suck.
I buy well made things. Those are not always American
Love all things American. Except a few of the people of course.
Food yes. I prefer US grown vegetables and Florida orange juice.
Everything else, not really. Most clothes are made in Asia.
Oh yeah if it's in my budget or close to the price of the foreign thing, I will always go for the local option. I especially love buying things right from my town.
Try to, but so little is made in the USA anymore.
Buy local fruits and veggies when available

We buy local and fair trade whenever we can.
Local produce, yes. Much else, no.
