Do you celebrate the national holidays for any other countries? (Other than typical celebrations in the US)
I barely celebrate US holidays, let alone anyone else's. I may think my own thoughts pertinent to the day, but it's not about "celebrating."
Have been known to attend Cinco De Mayo parties....
25 de Mayo (May Revolution) and 9 de Julio (Independence Day) for Argentina.
Diwali (Indian Festival Of Lights)
Just US holidays.
Are you really celebrating the holiday if its just to drink and party? Or do you get into the spirit of the holiday?
Oktoberfest is a very important holiday to the Germans. Everyone from Germany and the world gathers together to get completely smashed. Lol everyone is friends then
Have you ever been to Germany during Oktoberfest? It's so so so cool!
@ elands my parents have..not me, yet;)
A lot of German holidays too. I'm a terrible granddaughter and have no clue what they are for, but I can drink, so cheers.
Das ist gut!
Haha new username?
Idk this is one of my nick names in real life. Should I change it back? Lol
No do whatever you want! Some people might be confused though.
MARDI Gras? If that counts?
Cinco de Mayo. Which is really just an excuse to drink.
Exactly! Lol and feel a little tropical
Yeah everyone celebrates that one down here
@ scrazzle I wonder why... ;)
Viva la Mexico! Areba!!! Eyiyiyiyiyi
Not that I need an excuse to drink
