Are you scared of the dark?
Not usually, but my husband is a firefighter and works 24 hour shifts. When he's working, I've been known to freak myself out.....lol.
My dads a preacher and he would always see a light on back window second floor or basement and send me to turn it off...some scary shadowy thing behind every beam and pew. In those days the buildings were never locked... Scared!!
Never grew out of it but I could pretend to be brave for my kids when they were small
It's not the dark, it's the stuff In it!
I am. I do not like to be alone in the house at night. My fears come out. Home invasions ghosts aliens lol. Will not and can not watch scary movies.
Same here! All the sounds are mass murders and mutant animals...
That's what I used to think too. Now my greatest fear is that the neighbor cat will slip in unnoticed when I have my patio door wide open in the evening, hide under my bed, & kill me in the middle of the night. That's a *real* fear. Sorta.
I used to be. I used to be afraid to look at the windows at night because I might see something horrible on the other side, outside. Then a friend stayed with me for a month, & she was so much worse than I was, that I had to be the adult...
& not be afraid.
That was 1974. I've never been afraid of the dark since then.
That is good to know. That's about the time I was followed by Ted Bundy.
Oh yeah, Tops has a great Ted Bundy story!
I'd like to hear that story Susan!
It did involve being followed by Bundy (stalked?)... Maybe Tops will see this & tell it.
Tell us. Tell us!!
