Inspired by HNR...: If the military issued a coup tomorrow promising elections in one month, justifying the coup by referencing the NDAA, the Patriot Act, NSA, IRS targeting, and other constitutional violations; would you support their decision?

To be honest, it would depend to me on which generals. There have been some generals I would have trusted to do that.

Governments should never be run by the military or the church. But if I had to pick one it would be the church. At least you have a chance with them.
Dictatorships are the result of military rule.

I'm not proposing anything, I voted no for this. I am simply seeing how many people would implement such a system on Egypt and be appalled if the same was cast in us.

There are lots of aspects of this administration and this Congress to which I disagree. Even if all you cite in the question were truly intentional acts with ill intent, I would not support our military taking action. There are other ways to handle.
