A magic genie pops out of nowhere an offers you this opportunity that you must either accept or decline on the spot. Ninety days from now, you will become immortal, but you can not change your age/fitness/health. Do you accept?

Nope, I need to lose wait and get fit first. And wait until I get older.

I read this book. I don't remember the damn name though. But it stressed about the wheel life. They couldn't die ever because they drank the water that made them immortal. Totally changed my view. Death is part of the wheel of life.

If I could be healthy I'd do it! But I'm not spending eternity with my many and varied ailments!

For sure! Yeah I'm 37 but I run often, eat healthy and stay healthy for a reason. Bring on the genie. :)

I wouldn't be immortal if you paid me a hundred million dollars - life is too hard for it not to end at some point

No deal. I'm always amazed at the number of people who want to live forever. Forever is a long time.

But imagine all the good that could be done.

I'm pretty smart, I would get in shape then be immortal. I could learn and research indefinitely. I could sit back in the world and solve age old issues...I just would be alone.

I'll pass. This means I have an awful lot of working years ahead of me.

Yes, you can take your own life if you don't want to live forever, but want to stay as fit as you are for the duration your life would have been

Deal. Everything is still functional and I have a pretty good time. "Immortal" or no, there's always the chipper-shredder or a rocket to the sun if I get bored. I'd treat it like a slow trip to the future with a bunch of adventures along the way.

All I would do for the next 90 days is get into shape. 3-4 workouts a day and then I would be set.

I'm 21, working out, in great health, and looking good. This is the perfect time to take up his offer.

As long as I can kill myself if I want to.

I'll take that deal. I've already been working out lately. I'll go on one of those killer fitness schemes, 90 days should be enough to get into good shape.

I don't think I would want to be immortal. Sounds like an existence full of sadness losing everyone you love at some point.

I probably need more than 90 days to get in a shape I'd be happy with for eternity. Also, I'd miss my mortal friends and loved ones, so no.

I wouldn't want to be the only immortal one. But if I had to be, I guess 90 days from now would be a pretty good time to become immortal.
