Built my own pond with a waterfall. Lot of plumbing involved there. Fix leaks and snake out drains in the house.

I have if you count using that foam stuff to seal around a pipe, and of course dealing with clogs.

I thought being a homeowner makes you a defacto plumber, electrician, landscaper, etc.

It does. But I still call the plumber for the big stuff!

I agree. I'm pretty good with the plumbing I can see, under the sink, replace/repair water closet, light switch and outlets. Much more than that I call for reinforcements.

I'm calling in the big guns for a master bath remodel this summer. Move the water closet to other wall, add jet tub. Way above my pay grade.

My wife and I restored a 1901 Victorian. It took 2 years a year longer than I thought. Rewarding but never do that again.
