Does it concern you at all that the US has yet to have a female president?

No. If fact I could have even waited longer for a good black president.

We want a great leader, not a politically correct leader. If all our presidents are male until the end of time and its because they are better leaders, I'm okay with that.

This is exactly my thought on it. I don't care if our president was a different race or sex, as long as they can show themselves to be a great leader, then I don't mind.

What's that famous saying? I think it's:
"Judge a woman by the content of her character, not the presence of her girl parts."

I think we may change this soon

Women couldn't vote until less than 100 years ago, and couldn't fully serve in the military until last month. So it doesn't concern me that none has been President, but it does bother me, A LOT, that there are still a few who still think none should.

Doesn't concern me at all. If you put it in perspective only 44 people have had the honor of being president at all and only 17 since women have had the right to vote. It will happen at some point.

It doesn't surprise me at all. It doesn't bother me at all either.

You would rather have an incompetent woman with blood on her hands than a decent republican for president?

Good lord, drop Benghazi already

Oh I get it. Zman doesn't think a republican is going to win. He isn't asking me What a republican is going to win. Amirite?

Yeah I either needed a comma or to reword it better

Republican or otherwise, I don't expect a female president 2016.

Sorry, zman. Can't drop Benghazi. It was just too awful. And someone at the top deserves the blame for leaving men to die without even trying to help.

I can't believe you believe that nonsense. There was no stand down order, no conspiracy and that is a fact

For crying out loud even Bill O'reilly said enough with the "scandals". The IRS one blew up in their face and Benghazi got nowhere. The only thing that was proven was there was no stand down order. Marines were dispatched from Italy.

Of course we shouldn't elect someone *just* for their gender or even race. But it is concerning that we have yet to elect a woman president. If we truly didn't vote by gender then we would have had a woman.

Hillary was probably going to win until O played the race card on her, at least that's what bill Clinton said.

I hope your joking, that is not why he won.

He won because of hope and change?

That's what bill said. Challenge him.

Z-- That's exactly how I felt about Hillary. It was awesome that a woman ran for president, but I'm certainly not going to vote for her just because she is a woman.

Nobody cares what gender the president is. Just happens that they are more Men that choose to go into that line of work.

No. There's no virtue in electing someone just for their sex or skin color.

I don't care what gender, religion, or race the president is - that's not what it is about. I find it frustrating when people focus on one or more of those qualities instead of the actual politics. Yes, it'll be historical, but please don't make that
