Guys: would you be offended if your wife didn't always wear her wedding ring? (Ladies: do you/would you always wear yours?)

I said "yes" but I'm not saying she can't take it off for like a shower or when she is working with her hands. I would be offended if she were walking into a bar and took it off or took it off to go to work or something.

I never wear my ring. I stopped years ago when my hands were always in water from cleaning the house or cleaning the baby. I dont wear it now because my fingers get swollen from my illness

Put it on a chain and wear it.

I can think of certain occasions to take it off. If you're a professional chef or butcher, or a surgeon, etc. Even if I was making meatballs at home, I'd take it off to avoid getting raw hamburger on it.

I wore my wedding ring right up to the day I served the divorce paperwork on the lying cheating scumbag.

Wow I'm amazed at how many would be offended! I like it when my wife wears hers (prob 80-90% of the time) but I'm not offended when she doesn't from time to time. Thats a bit creepy and controlling.

I take mine off when I'm cooking, bathing the dogs or something similar.

I wear it whenever I leave the house. I take it off if I'm doing something messy or cleaning with chemicals.

I was very in love and loyal to my husband. I never left the house without it.

My wife takes hers off while doing dishes a lot and forgets to put them on and it kinda upsets me. But I understand that she forgets.

My hands swell frequently. And my husband's ring always got caught on things at work (appliance repair). So we got our rings tattooed on a few years ago.

I would always wear mine if I were married. Heck, I wore my mom's old wedding ring when I worked in customer service so guys wouldn't hit on me when I was taken.

A dollar one from Woolworth's for the wedding. I was allergic to it.

My wife takes hers off for specific reasons. I might be a little curious as to why she wouldn't wear it any other time. Offended? Meh, maybe a tad but not to the point I would question her loyalty.

No, because she removes it to shower, do work outside, and for lots of other reasons. Sometimes she'll forget to put it back on for church. It has lots of earthen minerals on it and could be damaged if she wore it always.

We custom designed her ring.

That's true. What if she never wore it? Would that offend you?

I wear mine all the time. Swim, bathe, sleep, etc. with it on. I only take it off if I'm going to be working with sticky dough.

Absolutely not. I know we're married, and so does she. It's her choice whether she wears it or not. A wedding ring means nothing... If the person is going to cheat or fool around, they're going to do so regardless.

Neither of us ever wear our rings. We actually regret ever getting them. Pointless affectation.

If you don't wear them, do you at least keep hem as a symbol of sorts?

Their in a drawer somewhere. If we ever needed the money, we'd sell them. Let me put it this way. Our rings did not contribute to our 26 years together and won't contribute to the next 26. They are completely dispensable in our opinion.
