Is there little difference between the dangers of corporate and the dangers of government power because both act in the interests of a privileged minority or is one more dangerous than the other?

Both bad, government worse. Just look at recent events. ie. IRS, data mining, Fast and Furious, insider trading, lobbying etc.

Corporations can't use real force to make you do what they say. Government can and does.

Both have the potential to exploit, each with their own "advantages". Gov is more powerful (corps can't throw you in jail, etc. and has a stronger "monopoly" as a single entity. Corps have more freedom and are less border constrained.

Corporate has more freedom. Government has to determine "fair and reasonableness" by adequate competition as well as give transparency as needed.
Corporate doesnt need to compete or justify. Less hoops.

Govt has to do this as a justification of using tax payer dollars.

They're both equally bad. Neither one looks out for the interest of the people, and in my opinion, the government goes out of their way to please corporations because that's how they ultimately gain supporters.
