I suppose an argument for this could be that ideally they would be in their district/state more often helping their constituents. Downside is they are not in DC debating legislation.
The only have to go to Capitol Hill 150 days a year, I think they can handle that.
I'm really conflicted on this. I'd prefer Representation by each & every member of Congress on every issue. By not appearing physically to vote, it would be possible for someone else to cast that vote or the vote to be cast under duress. So, no.
