If there was a way to cause temporary sterilization for teenagers till they were ready for children with minimal side effects, should it then be mandatory or volunteer based?

Mandatory temporary sterilization would be a license to engage in premarital sex without physical consequence (other than STDs). Parents should be able to opt tgeir children out if they absolutely trust them to abstain until marriage. My kids did.

The good news is teenage pregnancy is at an all time low.

We will encourage our kid the same, but that doesn't mean she will always listen or take our advise. I will be strongly discourage with evidence on why it's the right way to go. But on the other hand I don't want her to marry at 18 just to have sex.

@kilokalex, and that doesn't come from measures like we're seeing come out of Texas.
