Can you make yourself cry (without inflicting physical pain)?
Every time I laugh I cry. So yes, pretty easily.
If I try really hard.
Yeah, I just think about my life
All I have to do is envision someone's eyes being red and watery and I start crying. Lol
I cry every time someone takes a red skittle from me...then I break their arm.
only after sex
It's take me a minute to get worked up, but I could do it.
like dis if u cri evertim
Pretty sure I could
I cry quite often/easily, and when I do it is because of emotional reasons. I rarely cry because of physical pain.
Sure I can. I just need to think hard on very sad memories or on someone who has died. The dead person doesn't even have to be real! I can make someone up in my head and convince myself that they were real and important to me.
Yes, but it takes an Impractically long time...
Sad sings brings it out in me.
My tears cure cancer. Too bad I never cry...
Uh oh. Now you've challenged Chuck Norris for primacy....
Ha! Little Chucky boy... He still whimpers when he thinks about how used to make him give me his lunch money. He checks under his bed for me when he goes to sleep. He tried to extend the olive branch once and I whipped his hiney with it!
I haven't cried when I'm supposed to cry in the longest time, even though I've tried to force it out. I've cried far more at trivial and at often random times.
Listen to certain country songs
Just think about when Jesus has done in my life and I start crying.
I just think about when my ex girl friend says she could have the police come and arrest me. She says all she would need to do is cry. After seeing this pole, I should had been worried.
If I think about how mitt Romney lost, I can cry myself to sleep.
Look at the gender filter :)
Yes, it's definitely hormone related. Having a child made me start crying over just about anything emotional. I didn't do that before.
Every time I balance my checkbook!
No, but it would probably be good for sinus pressure. Physical pain doesn't make me cry anyway. It makes me noisy.
"noisy", good one. :)
Anyone can make themselves cry at will if they know how. I learned the trick years ago watching the old Mike Douglas talk show. You have to stop blinking & swallowing for about a minute and the tears will start by themselves. Takes a little practice but it works.
Only when I'm PMS-ing.
Now that I think about it, I can't remember the last time I cried from physical pain. Whenever I cry, it's always related to my emotions.
if I'm depressed, (which is a lot) all I have to do is turn on the imagination and think of something depressing. .and BOOM!
Yes, I can. If I get an eyelash in my eye and can't get it out, I read a scene from "Survivor in Death" by JD Robb. About an entire family killed except for a 9 year old girl. She asks to be taken to say goodby (in morgue). Makes me cry every time.
I learned in an acting class. I can turn on the tears like Glen Beck. Lol.
I guess I'm missing something here. Why would you want to make yourself cry?
Not worth an answer
No & can hardly stop myself when tears are triggered by something. If I'm crying, it's true emotion.
Yes, after my sister in law was killed by a hit n run driver, I just have to think of her - I guess that is physical pain I should have answer no.
When I read my Modern Witches books. I love love love those books.
"dead puppies dead puppies dead puppies dead puppies dead puppies dead puppies whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" I usually think of that or a family member dying.
Probably. Never really tried.
Sleep depravation and depression make that really simple. I could think about anything right now and start crying.
Depends on how late it is and how recently I've watched The Reichenbach Fall.
Yeah, it helped a lot in my Chinese school. I was acting up a bit, and my young teacher lectured me, and I teared up. Made her feel really bad about it.
Chopping unions (I think), laughing really hard, get an eyelash in my eye, etc.
Did you just spell onions like un-ions? Hahaha
I think we have a fan of Right to Work. :P
Oops haha *onions
I can cry on command. It was really useful when I used to act.
I can cry on command. I don't have to think sad thoughts or poke a finger in my eye. Funny thing is I'm not a crier. I haven't cried in years till the other day when someone wanted to see if I could really cry on command.
Those commercials where there are the animals in shelters which were abused or neglected.
I hate those! I have to change the channel. I just can't watch those.
Oh me too! Turns my stomach they are so gruesome ! If I watched them I would literally be traumatized & worry about those poor animals for *days*. So I just change the channel or mute sound & read until hubby says they are done!
No, crying sucks. Why would I want to make myself cry?
It is good for you, it cleans you soul.
I am not surprised at all to see Obama on the list of things that make SoHers cry!
But I still would find it easier to use Bush!!
I can make my eyes tear up, but not quite cry. I think that might be more of a physiological thing, but I'm not sure. I don't remember the last time I really cried (a few years ago) but my eyes still water sometimes. Long story short: kind of.
What if you could only do it 52% of the time?
when I think of all the cats that died in my childhood
By your hand?
If I watch one of those things where the troops come home....
