Knowing what we do makes this harder. W/his Security Clearance, Snowden knew how important safeguarding classified intel. is & the consequences of leaking. He knew he was committing "High Treason!" So, Well Meaning, Patriot, Hero or not, he's Guilty!

I shouldn't have just said "Guilty" but rather, "t's legally pretty cut & dry, "Guilty!" Unless the penalty(ies) for High Treason are mandatory & depending on the court, Snowden could be spared the harshest sentences for his "Patriotic Intentions."

He is getting less heroic as we go - he is now "threatening" to release more secrets if we don't do things his way - desperation will turn him into a villain
