Show of Hands

When I log on to the Mini, it asks for I'd, then no polls at all. The other categories show. Did this 3 times and this happened each time. Deleted SOH and reloaded. Now polls show, but not this one. All have icons deleted at the bottom for max. Memory.

And one showed up in three different places but were all there at the same time.... Thanks a bunch!

Every poll? Does refreshing the poll list make them go away?

Check your new polls again - there was one Tony posted this morning, removed, & recently replaced. It shows pictures of two doughnut company logos. Some people aren't seeing the pictures; (looks like iPad users).

Stats & profile show the same for me now, but they have showed differently in the past. iPad and iPhone show different number of my followers.

The first one I have that on my iPad but not my iPhone, the iPad profile is not updating. Tony has confirmed there may be a bug and he's looking into it. This also affects the number of followers on the iPad but my iPhone has no issue.

I just went back and checked. The donut poll, it was not there earlier and now I cannot see the picture. I voted a random one and still no picture. iPad 3 latest iOS

And when I click just above the ads on the rectangular box, it turns blue and the app crashes.

I take that back, I now see the donut companies picture poll.

Just did the donut poll. The photos came through fine. Picked DD.

The Krispy creme or Dunkin poll. I blindly picked Krispy creme. Oh the horror!

I just checked. No pictures was on the iPad, before and still after voting. My iPod touch is showing them fine.

There is no indication of my selection on the iPad screen, which also has no pictures. The iTouch screen does have the pictures, but only shows the check mark on the left (Krispy Kreme) selection. If I change to Dunkin' there's no check mark at all.

Duplicate polls, Susan has reported 4 of them and I added 2 to the list.

Can you remember a specific example of posting a reply and getting bumped to a different poll?

What do you mean, EB? Did you reply to some other poll and have the comments from this one show up after the app reloaded?

Yes! Kind of scared me because I wrote something silly on a small poll and when I hit submit, my comment was at the top of tilts poll!

Happened to me several times

Oh gosh - it happen almost all morning. I've answered 100 or more polls today Tony - I'm sorry I can't remember - if it happen again ill post here though

I had the kicked-to-the-wrong-poll thing a few times when it was in beta, but not since the release.

EB - did you try refreshing the comments, or leaving the poll & returning, to see if that cleared things up? That worked for me.

Susan - yes, refreshing fixed it.

Me neither - about the picture polls

I posted one this morning (krispy kreme vs dunkin donuts), then pulled it down, and just reposted it for testing purposes. Scroll down your list a bit...

I didn't know about picture polls either. I don't think I've seen one yet....

It's not an option for user polls. But, Tony posted an official SOH picture poll. Can you see it? It's about preference in donuts.

Either the donut poll wasn't showing up this morning, or I missed it somehow. I just scrolled down & can see it fine now.

The donut poll didn't show up for me either. When I went back and checked just now it was there.

But for iPad I still can't see the pics. On iPhone I can.

I missed the doughnut poll's presence earlier. I see it now, with pics, on the iPhone.

An iPod touch. I'm probably so excited to see the results that I scare the app away. ;)

That can't be it. SOH has been specifically engineered to embrace excitement. :)

Yeah we are working on a number of fixes to repair the poll result page. Stacked pie charts, raw vote counts (for polls with over 100 votes, to protect privacy), faster map, etc. It'll probably be a week or so before we can get them in though.

Thanks. We worked really hard on it. Even though it isn't perfect, I hope we can get most complaints addressed quickly. The addition of a full-featured website at the same time has been a Herculean task for a tiny team...

It's just crashing from too many actions and lag. I don't think it's really the server's fault. But it might,

And I can't scroll down to see old polls

Yeah earlier (not right now though) I couldn't see anything past the most recent ten or so polls.

What happens when you scroll? The poll questions (are supposed to) seamlessly load from the server in groups of 50, to save you bandwidth and help with performance. Are you not able to get any after the fist group?

Yeah I see the first 50 then it flashes and shows the same 50 over and over

Last thing: some of my notifications link to the wrong poll. One reply from inge's poll sends me to an SoH poll I didn't even answer.

I think we fixed that one last night. Let me know if you see it still today.

What device are you using?

Same thing with the state results bar. I answered red and DC turned all blue.

iPad 1. And the state color bar flipping is happening actually on this poll. So it's not just a one time problem.
