Policy had nothing to do with that. Simply made a decision. The Patriot Act was the policy that helped find Osama. Props to Obama for doing what needed to be done.

Really? His foreign policy hasn't been effective? His foreign policy helped get rid of Osama Bin Laden. How is that not effective?

salli7 President Clinton actually tried to get to BinLaden hut the press and the republicans called wagging the dog. You must have a fuzzy memory.

Wow, over 80% of democrats don't realize that Obama has been MORE militaristic than BUSH who they vastly disagreed with. He didn't even want to end Iraq war but had to because of BUSH agreement. Secret kill lists, surge in Afghanistan, increased drone attacks, countless innocent victims, etc.

I just don't understand how it is that the majority of Americans don't like Obama's policies and don't approve of him, but they are still willing to keep him in office. I think that the American people have sunken to an all-time low in character and integrity. Or was that a little too honest?

Foreign policy...he talked people to death...seems effective. How about ignore them. We don't need political friends. We need reliable allies who don't want to bomb us.

So, riddle me this ... why is it that MrO doesn't blame Mr Bush for the killing of bin Laden?

Ranks ... with your view on MrO, it is curious that you would call Independents uninformed. You really can't be serious to think that MrO is respected around the world, except maybe in Norway.

What makes you think Obama is respected? What I read in the foreign press is that he is not considered qualified for the office and they don't "get" why we elected him.

Got ZERO applause at the UN the other day...

This is a time I have 2 go at my independents. Really?!? Do u guys really believe that or are you guys once again not pay attention. I love my independents but they usually are the most un-informed bunch. Obama is respected around than world more than any other president since Ronald Reagan. Wake up

The world thinks the US is weak again. We've had three terrorist attacks on our soil, two embassies overrun and an ambassador killed. Obama got no respect at the UN either. Even Bill Clinton retaliated for the Lockerbie bombing. I doubt Romney would roll over like this.

They attacked first. We must defend. The list is long: Lockerbie. Hostage crisis. USS Cole. Lebanon barracks. World trade first bombing under Clinton. World trade 911. Munich massacre. Numerous plane hijackings and cruise ship murder for half a century.

Obama, in touch with world leaders? Hahaha... That's why today was the first time he's spoken to the president of Libya since Ambassador Stevens was killed by a mob retaliating for the killing-by-drone of an Libyan member of al Qaeda. Can't get fresh intel by remote control killings.

Please! He postponed it three times until Hillary told him go for it. You know I would have given him credit until they took it to the TV and invited Hollywood in, every time he talks about it he says I did this or I authorized that, can't stand him at all. Our military did it all!

Anyone who thinks he's done. Good job on foreign policy issues is lying or stupid. Seriously, it's not that difficult to see the obvious if you just open your eyes, liberals.
Otherwise, people just look at you with disdain and contempt.

Withdrew troops from Iraq, killed bin laden, decimated al Qaida leadership with predator missile strikes, supported democratic change in the middle east, created new Asian alliances to help contain china, sabotaged Iran's nuke program, restored the notion of true diplomacy with our allies

@nuwriter, Bush started two wars on credit. So far Obama has continued the shift towards special forces and covert action to combat terrorism while gradually withdrawing conventional military. They have distinctly different styles of diplomacy, how can you call them the same?

Just because I don't hit you first doesn't mean that I am weak it mean that I have other ways of dealing with you or the problem. I don't need to resort to a savage behavior. But if you want people to act like monkeys then the repubs may want to revisit their thoughts about evolution.

I agree that up to the beginning of the industrial revolution gov't was mainly needed for security and defense. But today we can be anywhere on the planet within 24 hours. We are global & we need the world leaders to communicate about more then safety and defense. We all must co-exist and evolve.

@Think and you think Romneys approach is the way to go. He said it can't be solved and it's not worth his time to attempt because it's useless. At least Mr.O doesn't get shoes thrown at him and bring them to the table to talk. That at least is the start to a very complicated problem

So, imagine the case that just yesterday MrO reinforces his indefensible excuse that the video caused the mob that killed our ambassador; and now one day later the president of Libya says that the film had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. He called it a pre-planed attack. Why is it MrO continues the lie?
