If you purchased 10 brand new wallets and put $100 in each of them and left them in random places all over your city with a note asking, "If found please call this number", how many would be returned with the money still in them?

I left my wallet at walmart photo desk once. I had over $200 in cash. Someone turned it in with all the money still in it. Very thankful.

I think most people will return the wallets but not the 100$ note.

A local news channel did something like that here a while back with backpacks and the majority of them were returned, so I said 6-10.

..of nice little things, like an expensive fountain pen & a good Swiss Army knife. Nothing was taken. The note was signed "a friend in Grants Pass." There was no way to thank them. I doubt everyone is that honest, but in memory of that, I vote 6-10.

This is a resort/retirement city full of old, rich, white men and and a strong, military, middle class. A lot of temporary residents, thought, so I'm not sure. I said 6-10 because I think it would be the same in any city.

The purpose of this question is to gauge your feelings about humanity in you city; are people mainly good or evil. I think all of them would be returned but I could be wrong.
