No. They are millions of people starving and we are discussing about the quality of the food of an animal.

Pets should have the same quality, because they live in closes to us and this could prevent spread of diesels

The cat i have now only eats cat food and she likes a little butter once in awhile. My previous cat had a more refined palette and loved prime rib, lamb chops and butter almond (no nuts) ice cream. She lived to be 19.

The same quality? Yes!!! But they should NOT have human food, only the same quality; however, since both canines and felines have different nutritional requirements, unless you know how to prepare your pet's food with quality ingredients and...

meeting the nutritional guidelines as well, you are not doing your pet and favors even if both you and your pet think you're the best pet nutritionist money can't buy.

When I was a kid we had a Jack Russel terrier, but she only ate ground beef because she lived before hand on a Great Dane rescue and thought she was one too.
She was a total bítch.
(True story.. It got to expensive so we gave her away.)

Only ground beef?! That's just ridiculous for a dog! I believe your story but that dog must be crazy.

Yes because nutrition is important for all species. Dogs have dietary needs and if you are going to own a pet, it's your responsibility to meet those needs. Should you buy him steak? No, but if you are feeding him Old Roy, you are essentially

starving him. It doesn't come close to meeting his needs. Not to offend anyone, but as a vet tech (went to school, currently not working), it's my opinion if you aren't going to properly care for your pet, you don't need one.

That's a hard answer because some people eat real crappy food which I wouldn't feed to any of my pets. But they don't necessarily need a T-bone steak when scrap cut will do.

People do? Crappy in the sense of junk food or actual junk? You'd be surprised, that pet food can be really unhealthy for humans.

No, I wouldn't lol. But quite a few of them are also unhealthy for pets.
But I mean we definitely eat foods with little to no nutritional value and we definitely shouldn't give things like that to the pets.

If my dog wants better food all he has to do is ask.

Lol in all seriousness I don't think my dog cares what he eats. He will eat a toilet paper roll as happily as a ribeye. And they come out the same: diarrhea.

Hahahaha!!! Poor doggy, and you for that matter. Oh boy, that must make a great contrast between the snow and the poo. And little holes of poo where the snow has melted. Hahaha.

Most pets don't really care what they eat. But humans do. Or at least I do... So no, it shouldn't be the same quality.
